  1. I can remember at that time eve1 was talking about a youngstar and he was clarkeeeee

  2. I was there !! Still remember the innings clearly.. Remember watching in awe of the 6s Gilchrist hit off Kumble & Harbhajan’s caught & bowled just before lunch on day 2 to dismiss Gilchrist..

  3. This Michael Clarke is long dead. I don’t even recognise the corpse called Pup walking around nowadays!

  4. @robelinda, gowikipedia : almost seems to the naked eye that he has a high dead backlift these days as compared to the free flowing lift he had when young. Looks like it keeps him from getting under the ball like he used to and hence the dearth of big shots. Hopefully his frugality of technique will bode well in the form of a run fest.

  5. @slogger162 While I agree that Atherton is a good and clever commentator, he wasn’t half the batsman that Pup is.

  6. @brynjones11 Atherton had more balls than Clarke and more stomach for fight! And he’s actually a very intellectual commentator, unlike your ill informed comment

  7. brilliant from a brilliant player. atherton is a fuckin awful commentator than he was awful player

  8. Champion effort! Good to see the Indian fans enjoying it too, it seems the only people who were hating this were the Indian players- understandably!

  9. I know what u mean i suppose it’s because this video hasn’t ben on you tube to long.
    Fantastic innings espically on debut
