Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke is a professional cricketer who plays for the Australian cricket team. He has been part of the Australian line-up for quite some time; he represents the side in all formats of the game including twenty-twenty internationals. He is a very talented played who came into the side as a young right handed batsman. He is a terrific fielder and can also do a bit of part time left arm orthodox spin bowling. He is a very useful cricketer and can bat at any position. He is the sort of player who is an asset for any team. He was born on the 2nd of April in the year 1981. He has also led the Australian side in one day internationals.

Clarke made is appearance in first class cricket for New South Wales as an eighteen year old and a couple of years later he was selected in the national side and made his debut against England. He mainly got into the side as an effective right handed middle order batsman, he had a very effective technique which was classical as well as effective, and he later cemented his place in the Test Side as well. Making it to the Australian team is no matter of joke as the country at that time had some of the best players in the world in the squad. He gave some solid performances against top teams like England and India. He is a livewire in the fields and is the best fielder in the current Australian side. He has also been the captain in the Australian Test side during the Ashes side.

Clarke always showed tremendous potential as captain and he has a very sound head on his shoulders, despite being relatively young, he has shown a great deal of maturity in handling his players some of who were even senior to him. He always gave other players the respect that they deserve and has gained the respect of his senior players also due to this reason.

Clarke also started doing a lot of bowling for Australia and he was particularly successful against India in the 2008 season when he picked up a lot of wickets in the subcontinent. He has been successful in troubling the Indian batsmen who are world renowned as being the best players of spin bowling. Now he plays as a full time captain of the Australian one day side.
